Meet Marcel van der Heijden, the visionary co-founder propelling the Plant FWD initiative forward. After spending more than a decade building digital advertising agencies and working on top 500 brands, Marcel co-founded the plant-based start-up Karma Kebab in 2020. Realising the importance and the impact of the protein transition for both consumers and our planet as a whole, Marcel co-founded Plant FWD together with Maartje Nelissen and Tom van Duijn in 2022. With a wealth of experience in developing and scaling companies, a passion for sustainability paired with a strong marketing background, Marcel ensures Plant FWD flourishes by crafting impactful branding and fostering partnerships to advance our mission.
